How can peristaltic pump hose be regarded as qualified HOSE
What performance can be considered as qualified peristaltic pump hose? I believe we are not so understanding, please follow the small series of peristaltic pump hose to understand it.
1. Chemical compatibility
When choosing peristaltic pump for pumping corrosive fluid, the key is to choose the right pump pipe material. Wrong selection of pump pipe will lead to dangerous situation, which may damage equipment and endanger personal safety. Please check the chemical compatibility table provided by the pump and pipe manufacturer for each application. The pump must be tested before using new or unlabeled chemicals. Immerse a small section of the pump pipe in the fluid. Check the size, color, weight and strength of pump pipe. If possible, test the tubing in the pump before stretching the tubing. When the pump pipe is extruded, it will bend and rub chemicals into the pipe wall, which will accelerate the aging and disintegration of the pipe.
2. No pollution
In many applications, such as laboratory research, pharmaceutical, biotechnology product production, fluid isolation is very important. A large number of studies have demonstrated that silicone tubes and silicon-based materials will not react with various biomaterials. There are other kinds of materials also have this performance, and can meet the USP class VI requirements. Some pumps use tube assemblies made of inert PTFE tubing.
3. Flexure resistance
The ability of different pipes to bear repeated roller rolling is also different. Generally speaking, the combination of specific pump pipe size, pipe material, pump head type and running speed determines the service life of pump pipe. The service life of the pump pipe, or the flexural yield limit in the pump, is the primary consideration before putting it into new application. Nowadays, it is very common to use thermoplastic synthetic rubber (TPE) in the system, and the pump pipe operation life is more than 500 hours.
